3:00 PM PACIFIC TIME: FRIDAYS
Welcome to Talk it Out Radio, your local, live, community call-in, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Mindfulness, and Social Justice Radio Show here on KPFA, 94.1 FM .
We believe that the best place to create a more equitable and compassionate world is to practice being the world we envision right here inside ourselves and with the people in front of us. We are dedicated to sharing practices and skills for effective and meaningful communication which includes deep listening, compassion, and collaboration. We are passionate about supporting dialogues across sensitive and important topics without doing harm to one another in the process. We integrate NVC with anti-racist and anti-oppression practices.
Our hosts Nancy Kahn, Timothy Regan and Fresh Lev White are NVC facilitators, Buddhist practitioners, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, Justice (DEIBJ) coaches, consultants, strategists and/or mediators.
We welcome guests and callers to practice empathy, awareness, and effective communication with us. Our intention is to share tools, knowledge, and resources that empower all of us to effectively connect across differences and create understanding, so that we can all work together to create a more just experience for our own lives, our communities, and for the planet.
