Carl Hiaasen is a novelist best known for writing humorous and satiric crime thrillers set in Florida. His latest novel, “Fever Beach,” satirizes the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, corrupt nepo Florida Congress-critters, and rich right-wing geriatric  billionaires.
