Talk-It-Out Radio – September 25, 2016
A collaboration between several Nonviolent Communication (NVC) trainers in the Bay Area.

3:00 PM PACIFIC TIME: FRIDAYS
Welcome to Talk it Out Radio, your local, live, community call-in, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Mindfulness, and Social Justice Radio Show here on KPFA, 94.1 FM.
We believe that the best place to create a more equitable and compassionate world is to practice being the world we envision right here within ourselves and with the people we share space with. We are dedicated to guiding conceptual learning and practical skills that as show hosts, we have developed as inner practices, and we have advanced training and professional experience in coaching others in. We trust in the practices we share, as we have found they powerfully contribute to greater authenticity, compassion, connection communication, effective conflict resolution, and in fact, disrupt patterns of harm that play out in communication patterns. Some of the practices we model are deep listening, empathy, compassion, presence, mindful language, and collaborative dialogue. We are passionate about supporting dialogues across sensitive and complex topics without contributing to more harm to one another in the process. We integrate NVC with anti-racist, anti-oppression, mindfulness, trauma-informed, and advanced critical thinking frameworks and practices to contribute to the values of being heard, psychological safety, caring, and dignity and respect for all people.
Our hosts Nancy Kahn, Timothy Regan and Fresh Lev White hold varied and different titles from Certified NVC facilitators, Buddhist practitioners, professional trauma-informed coaches, consultants, strategists and/or mediators.
We welcome guests and callers to practice with us. Our intention is to share world-class tools, conceptual frameworks, and personal and professional resources to empower all of us to more confidently and skillfully connect across differences and foster genuine understanding in all settings.
Talk It Out Radio show hosts long for a world in which we can all connect and work together to create a more just experience within our individual lives and all of our relationships, across our communities and the collective society, as well as the world, for the benefit of our planet, one conversation at a time.
