Today’s program features June Jordan reading from her book Technical Difficulties, recorded at Cody’s Books in Berkeley in 1992. June Jordan was born in Harlem in 1936 and grew up in Brooklyn. Poet, essayist, political activist and scholar, she was a prolific, passionate and influential voice for liberation.
