Trump, Russia, and Eviction in San Francisco

On today’s episode, hosts Cat Brooks and Mitch Jeserich talk to Karen Greenberg, Director of the Center on National Security at Fordham University, about rumors that Trump may fire Robert Mueller, head of the investigation of Russia and the election. The three also discuss Jeff Sessions’ upcoming senate hearing.

In the second segment, they speak with Deepa Varma, Executive Director of the San Francisco Tenants Union, about dishonest eviction practices in San Francisco, as well as legislation that has been proposed to combat these practices. Then we hear an interview with a person who grew up in San Francisco through the stories of author Norman Zelaya. His new book, Orlando and other stories is based on his experiences growing up and living in the Mission.
