Day two of confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsch. He’s pressed on abortion, torture and whether corporations have the same free speech rights as people. Donald Trump pays a rare visit to Capitol Hill to rally wavering Republicans ahead of Thursday’s scheduled vote to overturn the Affordable Care Act and put in place the Republican alternative. San Francisco and Oakland may join the city of Berkeley in voting to bar contracting with companies that help to build Donald Trump’s wall along the border with Mexico. S.F. Mayor Ed Lee signs an ordinance pledging noncompliance with any future Muslim registry that the Trump Administration might order.
