Senate Republicans run out of options to get rid of Obamacare  after losing support for the repeal and replace version they were hoping to vote on. Mitch McConnell also runs into opposition for his place for a simple up or down vote on repeal, to take effect in two years. California lawmakers take up legislation to protect consumer privacy on the internet.  Marin and San Mateo counties and the city of Imperial Beach sue fossil fuel companies for damages from rising seas caused by global warming.
