The Justice Department asks for delay in a consent decree implementing reforms for the Baltimore Police Department, as part of an overall effort that could lead to the reversal of consent decrees the Obama Justice Department hammered out with police departments around the country.┬áCalifornia State Senator Holly Mitchell wants to end the ┬áprosecution of children under the age of 12, saying it’s time┬áto do away with the cradle to prison pipeline. Nationwide protests on the anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. highlight the Fight for a $15 an hour minimum wage.
