A week after Donald Trump unveiled his market-friendly plan to reduce prescription drug prices in the US, a group of physicians in the US and Canada have published their own multi-step plan to control drug costs and quality, while at the same time giving patient assistance programs. We’ll speak with Dr. Adam Gaffney, the lead author of the plan. Then, our race and criminal justice correspondent Jody Armour, a USC professor, joins us to discuss how police are weapons in the hands of white Americans against blacks, as many recent viral videos have demonstrated.
