Is Trump’s firing the FBI’s director mirroring the Saturday Night Massacre?

On today’s show host Mitch Jeserich talks to Michael Koncewicz, historian and a Cold War Curator at the Tamiment Library at New York University to discuss the similarities of he Trump’s firing the FBI director, James Comey and the so called “Saturday Night Massacre” as it is know as one of the most dramatic turns of events in the Watergate scandal that shook the United States in the early 1970s that led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon.

 

Then Mitch, talks to Congresswoman Jackie Speier (CA-14), Member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and Ranking Member on the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Military Personnel who is calling for an Special Prosecutor on the Comey’s dismissal by President Trump.

  1. Great show, as always, here on Letters and Politics. It was painful to hear Mr. McCoy interrupting Mitch toward the end of the program, though.
