The Cuban Revolution

With Samuel Farber, Emeritus Professor of Politics at Brooklyn College and author of the book Cuba Since the Revolution of 1959: A Critical Assessment. He has a new book coming out in May called The Politics of Che Guevara Theory and Practice.

About the book:

Uncritically lauded by the left and impulsively denounced by the right, the Cuban Revolution is almost universally viewed one dimensionally. Farber, one of its most informed left-wing critics, provides a much-needed critical assessment of the revolution’s impact and legacy.

Why did you choose this guy to speak about Fidel after his death? If you are going to have a biased guest, you should have someone with an opposing view with the same command of language and history. This man is obviously an expat opponent. He made a few false claims, but no one to challenge.
