The Cuban Revolution

With Samuel Farber, Emeritus Professor of Politics at Brooklyn College and author of the book Cuba Since the Revolution of 1959: A Critical Assessment. He has a new book coming out in May called The Politics of Che Guevara Theory and Practice.

About the book:

Uncritically lauded by the left and impulsively denounced by the right, the Cuban Revolution is almost universally viewed one dimensionally. Farber, one of its most informed left-wing critics, provides a much-needed critical assessment of the revolution’s impact and legacy.

One response to “The Cuban Revolution

  1. Why did you choose this guy to speak about Fidel after his death? If you are going to have a biased guest, you should have someone with an opposing view with the same command of language and history. This man is obviously an expat opponent. He made a few false claims, but no one to challenge.
