A divided Supreme Court upheld president Trump’s ban on travel from several mostly Muslim nations. The 5-4 decision is a victory for Trump on an issue central to his agenda. Justice John Roberts wrote the majority opinion for the 5 conservative justices. Roberts wrote that the president has substantial powers to regulate immigration and rejected the claim of anti-muslim bias.
