Ibram X. Kendi is a professor of history and international relations and the founding director of the Antiracist Research and Policy Center at American University.  He is the author of Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America, which won the National Book Award for Nonfiction. His latest book is How to Be an Antiracist. He is a columnist at The Atlantic, his latest piece Stop Blaming Black People for Dying of the Coronavirus: New data from 29 states confirm the extent of the racial disparities.
