If Bernie Sanders would have went independent after “losing” to Clinton, Do you think he could have won the presidency in a three way election against Clinton and Trump ?
Not in the real world. The election would have probably been decided in a congressional vote (after no candidate got 270 in the Electoral college) And then the Republican congress would have awarded the presidency, to, you guessed it, D.Trump.
