Flashpoints @ Standing Rock: Broadcast Part 2.

Today on Flashpoints we continue our week of broadcasts from Standing Rock. We’ll cover a tense protest that took place in front of the federal building in downtown Bismark, as police did everything in
their power to prevent it from taking place, including blocking off
the main exits on the freeway that lead to the capital, forcing the a
hundred car caravan of water supporters from Standing Rock to seek
side roads and alternative roots to the city center. Also, an
indigenous Canadian activist tells about the struggle to hold the new
Canadian prime minister accountable to keep his promise to protect
indigenous lands from future oil spille: and Palestinian Human Rights
Lawyer Noura Erakat.  on how Israel Expanded Its use of force and diminished Palestinian resistance
