Today on a Flashpoints…native people’s activist Winona Laduke provides an update of the ongoing protests against the Dakota Access Pipeline on the land of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe, then we go to the situation in Brazil where president Dilma Rousseff was impeached today in what is being called a constitutional coup, next we look at the possible end of nearly five decade armed struggle in the Philippines with negotiations underway in Oslo, Norway, finally we go back to the situation in Haiti where a DEA fugitive wanted for drug trafficking and money laundering has been cleared by the election council to run for the Senate.
