A pioneer of live digital looping techniques, PAMELA Z processes her voice in real time to create dense, complex sonic layers. Her solo works combine experimental extended vocal techniques, operatic bel canto, found objects, text, and sampled concrète sounds. MOE! STAIANO’S innovative solo percussion shows feature prepared drum kit, found objects, audio looping and the inventive use of a “percussion guitar” woven in with performance art, which always gets the audience involved and eagerly expectant of what might happen next. Live in-studio Freq Mod Mixes, radio incantations and direct-to-ear demodulations from the eternal feedback loop.
