  1. Suspending disbelief about the likelihood of a GOP Congress to impeach Trump, you might want to ask how rosy it would be having VP Pence promoted to the presidency, seeing how his worldview is in tune with that of Sarah Palin’s.

  2. We must NOT give up our right and duty to impeach Trump or any government official who commits crimes. Pence becoming President is horrible to contemplate for sure, but worse is taking impeachment off the table and allowing crimes to occur in broad daylight and Congress shirking its duty to hold hearings. Those hearings are impeachment hearings. If sufficient evidence emerges that there are crimes, the House votes to impeach and the Senate holds a trial. This is a process mentioned 6 times in the Constitution. It’s our remedy for illegal actions and we need to use it.
