For many, the mental health effects of COVID have lingered even as our world has gotten back to “normal”—or at least the “new normal”—following what seems to be the worst of the COVID pandemic. Some people report just feeling “blah,” like they’re simply going through the motions, with little sense of calling, purpose, or passion. So, what’s going on here? Shouldn’t people be feeling better now that the intensity of the pandemic has lessened somewhat? Why are so many people finding it hard to re-discover a sense of passion or purpose in life? These are some of the questions we grapple with in this episode. Host David B. Feldman speaks with Dr. Diane Dreher, PhD, positive psychology coach and author of several books, including Your Personal Renaissance and The Tao of Inner Peace.
