It has been over a year since the Gulf Coast was ravaged by Hurricane’s Katrina and Rita. Amid reports of a city ignored by the federal government, individuals spurned by insurance companies, and miles of neighborhoods abandoned and uninhabited, there are kernels of activism and hope in New Orleans.
