The 5,500 workers at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation or CBC have
been locked out of their jobs for 7 weeks; employees at the UK’s public
service BBC have been threatened with large-scale layoffs. CMG’s Sue
Elrington and NUJ’s Paul McLaughlin talk about the issues faced by workers
in public broadcasting.
