  1. Hi there, I love listening to KPFA, and am appreciating this presentation.. I also have his book! Just an ask or plea… I am having a hard time listening to this presenter, as I have had previously hard time listening to one of the presenters from the Herbal Highway, Karen Sanders. I certainly chalk it up to my own sensitivity issue but I am curious if something can be done about the audio or microphones. Over the air, I am hearing a lot of noises focusing in on a lot of the ‘wet’ sounds of their mouths are making besides what is being communicated (swallowing, breathing, tongue softly moving around and saliva clicking). The effect is so overwhelming that I have to turn these certain presentations off. I am sure I am in the minority here but it really does effect me to the point that I have to turn these presenters off. I am not sure if anything can be done with the microphones for these folks as I really do appreciate these shows and just wanted to weigh in and see if anything can be adjusted as I really love all of the programming and hate to miss these incredible shows for such a silly reason. Thank you for at least listening or considering.

  2. This sounds fantastic. However, my biggest conflicts are with people who have much more power than me and are unwilling to talk. So, how can this method be used in such a situation.
