Updates from the St. Louis Protests and Excerpts from Fred Hampton

On September 15, 2017 former police officer Jason Stockley was acquitted for the charge of first degree murder of Anthony Lamar Smith. Cathy ‘Mama Cat’ Daniels tells UpFront about the front-lines of protests in St. Louis, informing listeners about what is happening on the ground, detailing egregious police action.

After speaking with Mama Cat, the show features excerpts from the Pacifica Radio Archive’s collection of archival Fred Hampton recordings and an interview between Cat Brooks and Fred Hampton, Jr.
