US Military Forces in Niger, Diane Ravitch & Jose Ines Garcia Zarate Trial

This morning we speak with Joseph Trevithick, freelance journalist currently writing for Time Inc.’s The War Zone and former analyst with GlobalSecurity.org. He speaks with UpFront about the American military involvement in Niger. His focus is in tracking U.S. military operations around the world, particularly in Africa. Joseph broke the news that private contractors with Berry Aviation conducted casualty evacuation in the aftermath of the attack on U.S.-Nigerien forces in Niger.

Diane Ravitch, historian of education, an educational policy analyst, and a research professor at New York University speaks with Brian Edwards-Tiekert about her latest book The Reign of Error.
