An Executive Order on Religious Freedom and Insecure Teens Targeted by Facebook

This Thursday Trump passed an executive order on religious freedom. It allows religious institutions to endorse candidates from the pulpit and it exempts them from providing contraceptives to their employees. Jessica Pieklo, vice president of law and the courts, joins us.

The Australian leaked a 23 page document detailing how Facebook targets teens who are feeling emotionally vulnerable. Facebook, according to the release, lets advertisers pinpoint when teens are feeling “insecure”.¬† We talk to Luke Stark, a postdoctoral fellow in sociology at Dartmouth College.
