  • Miyoko Sakashita, Oceans Program Director at the Center for Biological Diversity
  • Antonia Juhasz, independent journalist who’s written several books about the politics of oil. *We requested an interview with a representative of Plains All American, the owner of the pipeline that ruptured, via the joint response center at Refugio Beach–they said no-one from the company was available during our broadcast. We also reached out to the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Administration, which is the federal agency that oversees this particular pipeline — we’d received no response by airtime.
