Democratic Republic of Congo Further Delays Anticipated Elections; Plus Black Infant Mortality Rates Highest in the US, Why?

The electoral commission in Democratic Republic of Congo confirmed yesterday that it was postponing the presidential election scheduled for this Sunday, December 23 to December 30. If the election actual happens, it would be the first democractic transfer of power since the 1960  overthrow Patrice Lumumba, Congo’s first democratically elected Prime Minister.
