Saturday marks trumps first 100 days in office. We take a look back at what he’s accomplished, and, what he has not accomplished, But also, we take a look at what sort of mark he’s left on the country, how he’s changed the way we view the presidential office, and each other – such as immigrants. We talk to Ruth Conniff, editor in chief of the progressive.
This past saturday was the “march for science” in washington DC and across the country. The marchers wanted to send a message to the administration who have questioned science, and the truth of climate change. But, not everyone agreed with the way marchers portrayed the scientific endeavor as something politically neutral. Dr. John Alaniz a historian of science at the University of California, Berkeley, joins us in the studio.
