North Korea – Richmond Renaissance

On today’s show we talk with Christine Hong, associate professor in the Literature Department and the program in Critical Race and Ethnic Studies at UC Santa Cruz and executive member of the Korea Policy Institute. As the Trump Administration engages in force displays with North Korea, we need to address the issues which could arise.

Then, a quick update on the journey of the Caravan Against Fear, before heading to a discussion with Rasheed Shabazz, Media, Arts and Culture Program Director at RYSE Center. The RYSE center produces Richmond Renaissance, a play about the 1940s Richmond, a center for Blues, Jazz and Zydeco. The play is performed by the youth at Cerrito High School.
