Donald Trump is engaging in Twitter diplomacy that appears anything but diplomatic. On today’s show we’ll turn to our Empire and Foreign Policy correspondent Rahul Mahajan about Trump’s positioning on North Korea, Iran, and Turkey and how to make sense of current US foreign policy overall. Then, Israeli born attorney and first time film maker Josef Avesar will join us to discuss his new documentary, Surviving Peace, which captures his journey to Israel and Palestine as he makes the case for a confederation as a solution to the long-standing conflict. Finally, author Sasha Abramsky joins us to discuss his newest book, Jumping At Shadows: The Triumph of Fear and the End of the American Dream. Hosted by Sonali Kolhatkar.
