The mayor of Charlotte, North Carolina declares a midnight to 6 am curfew for a second night to try to keep protesters off the streets. Protesters continue to demand the release of the police video of the fatal shooting of Keith Lamont Scott. Syrian warplanes launch some of the heaviest air strikes yet on rebel held sections of Aleppo. The family of Berkeley transgender woman Kayla Moore is in federal court ¬†on its federal wrongful death lawsuit against the city. Green Party candidate Jill Stein vows to “occupy” next Monday’s presidential debate, from which she and Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson will be excluded.
