Now you are reporting as “unusual” some law firm’s offices in Russia and receiving an award from Russia (heck, a foreign country also awards Nobel prizes and no one blinks, even when they are Awarded to a murderer). There is nothing “unusual” or newsworthy about Russia/US Corporate or political/geopolitical relations; and there certainly nothing illegal. In the long term globalization of economics, commerce, social and political matters and sectors—not to mention institutions such as the United Nations—there is absolutely NOTHING unusual about any kind of relations with Russia. Your continuing bias against the U.S. head of state adds to and further whips up the mindlessly frenzied hysteria, and a certain insidious attempt by a certain U.S. cabal to unseat a sitting head of state that they don’t like. Your behavior seems far beneath the touted standard of—and in my mind throws into serious question—your “independence.”
