President Donald Trump unveils what critics call Muslim Travel Ban 2.0. His revised order banning travel to the U.S. for the next 90 days for nationals of six majority Muslim countries leaves Iraq off the list and makes allowances for people with valid visas and green cards. The U.S. Supreme Court returns the case of transgender teenager Gavin Grimm to a lower federal court — declining to go ahead with this month’s scheduled arguments on whether he should be allowed to use the boy’s restroom at his Virginia high school. At the State Capitol, a Republican lawmaker and a handful of county sheriffs speak out against a law that would effectively make California a sanctuary state. Civil rights and feminist leader Aileen Hernandez is celebrated at a San Francisco City Hall memorial after her death last month at the age of 90.
