Democratic Congressional leaders Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi call on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign following the revelation  that Sessions met twice with the Russian Ambassador while serving as a top advisor to the Trump presidential campaign — a fact he didn’t disclose under questioning during his Senate confirmation hearing. Jeff Sessions says he’ll recuse himself from any probe of ties between the Trump campaign and Russia. Farmworkers and the state’s powerful agricultural industry square off  over the nomination of former State Senator Isadore Hall to serve on the California Agricultural Labor Relations Board. NBC reports that 10 Pentagon officials have confirmed that last month’s deadly commando raid in Yemen, which cost the lives of a U.S. Navy SEAL and a number of  Yemeni children, has so far yielded no significant intelligence.

  1. (preface: i’m a democratic socialist. i have no interest in either of two parties, the duopoly. I have come to conclude my candidate Bernie Sanders was blocked by unjust election laws, to run as an independent after the democratic convention)

    Why are the democrats so petty, trivial and too often vehemant against having better relations with Russia ? I mean it is trump’s only progressive initiative
