Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan says he’ll schedule a gun control vote on Tuesday. The California Assembly passes a series of tough gun control measures which would give the state the toughest laws in the country. Democrats hope the measures will persuade Lt Governor Gavin Newsom to withdraw his gun control initiative from the ballot. A report says communities of color are being left out of the California political process, despite the fact that the state is a majority minority state.
