  1. I am a socialist, And i have mixed feelings about the death with dignity euthanasia. first of all insurance companies love this euthanasia law. people who are not even terminal but disabled and vulnerable, might just choose euthanasia because of the cdc cruel, inhumane, broad brush guidelines on opioids and other anti pain narcotics . Some terminal patients may chose to die early because they are not getting the pain and anxiety drugs they need to have a good death. One doctor from another country, i know of still tells dying patients they are getting better and gives them all the drugs to lift mood and reduce pain. they usually die peacefully with a pleasant small smile on their faces. a good death is as important as a good life. However if the medications aren’t working anymore then yes the patient should have the right to die. but do we know that drug euthansia isn’t traumatic and painful like chemical induced executions ? Now don’t confuse your sense with your sensibilities, but if i was terminal, i would rather be shot several times in the head or quillotined while i was sleeping from non lethal sleeping and pain narcotics dose.
