Donald Trump changes tack and now says he was just being sarcastic, after days of claiming that President Obama and Hillary Clinton founded the Islamic State. Authorities in Thailand aren’t sure who was behind bombing attacks that struck several popular resort cities in beach towns, killing four people and wounding dozens of others. Whatcom County in Northwest Washington  imposes a 60 day moratorium on new fossil fuel export permits. Officials said they need a time-out to assess public health and safety risks posed by increased transportation of fossil fuels.  San Francisco Assemblymember Phil Ting urges approval of his legislation that would allow local cities and counties to pay the California Highway Patrol to carry out an increased number of inspections of tour buses that carry visitors from all over the world. The Drug Enforcement Administration refuses to reclassify marijuana from its Schedule One status as a dangerous drug like heroin.
