The mothers of two young victims of last year’s Berkeley balcony collapse testify in favor of more transparency and tougher standards that could have averted the tragedy. Pentagon Papers whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg and other supporters of imprisoned army whistleblower Chelsea Manning urge the U.S. Army to drop disciplinary charges against her related to Manning’s suicide attempt and to provide treatment for her gender dysphoria and suicide attempt.
