Ariel Wang and Briget Boyle perform live on The Hear and Now – September 12, 2019

Bay Area singer-songwriter Ariel Wang and her band–Lewis Patzner, cello; Terrell Liedstrand, mandolin and vocals; Tim DeCillis, drums; Kevin Gordon, bass; Matt Montgomery, violin; Vicky Perenyi, violin; Jacob Hansen-Joseph, viola–perform live in the KPFA studio. Singer-songwriter Briget Boyle (True Life Trio, Kitka) sings three songs as well. Wang’s new album, Bridges, will be issued on September 14, and Wang celebrates it with a show at the Starry Plough in Berkeley on Saturday, Sep. 14 (with Boyle, Heather Normandale, and Wayfairy). Derk Richardson hosts, and Tony Ferro engineers with Miguel Guerrero and Safi Wa Nairobi.
