Bay Area band Westerly released its newest album, “Spirits & the Voice of Reason” last December. For tonight, Westerly is: Sterling Spence, guitar and lead vocals; Leah Woodard, vocals; Brandon Seinturier, drums; and Gordon Allen, violin and vocals. Hear them play live in the KPFA studio, with Tony Ferro engineering. The band’s next show is Wednesday, May 11, at Armando’s in Martinez. Today is the birthday of Blind Willie McTell, Tammy Wynette, and Johnnie Taylor, so who knows what might happen in the second hour of the show with host Derk Richardson.
