On Saturday, Dec. 5, Fred Frith and Zeena Parkins will conduct a large ensemble in the Mills College Concert Hall, celebrating the music and life of their late collaborator Lindsay Cooper. Tonight, Frith and ROVA Saxophone Quartet’s Larry Ochs will share recorded tracks from Cooper’s fecund but all too short career and talk about her creativity with host Derk Richardson. Cooper was best known for her work with the band Henry Cow, she was also a member of Comus, National Health,News from Babel and David Thomas and the Pedestrians. Find out more about her tonight and here.
