Bishop Walter Lee Hawkins born May 18, 1949 in Oakland, CA the brother of the late Edwin Hawkins, Lynette Hawkins-Stevens, Carol Hawkins, Feddie Hawkins and Daniel Hawkins. “The first family of Gospel.” Started his career in the Northern California State Youth Choir of the Church of God in Christ.
