Sunday Show

Sunday Show – November 5, 2017

Ahead of Donna Brazile’s scathing inside expose of Hillary Clinton’s control over the DNC during the 2016 presidential election, progressives, including members of the DNC’s Progressive Caucus, released a 34-page report detailing such abuses and other failures within the party that led to its loss in the 2016 presidential election, and subsequent ones.  It also makes recommendations for reform.  Guest host, Christina Aanestad speaks with Jeff Cohen an editor of “Autopsy: Democratic Party in Crisis.” He’s also founder FAIR and a co-founder of Rootsaction.org.

In the second hour, guest Eduardo Duran discusses the integration of western psychotherapy and traditional indigenous healing in treatment today, particularly as it relates to intergenerational trauma.  Duran is a psychotherapist who has worked in Indian Country for 30 years, and is the author of two books “Healing the Soul Wound” and “Buddha in Redface.”  He will be leading a workshop at the California Institute of Integral Studies November 18-19, 2017.
