I totally disagree with Andrew Bacevich Israel was th major factor in the Iraq invasion ,it it all started from after the 1991 GH Bush war ,after that we had the Wolfwitz doctrine ,then the 1996 Clean Breaks ,then the 1998 Project for New American Century ,all of which called for the U S and Israel to invade to have full control of all countries in the middle east and have regime change to protect Israel ,never mind near all signers of PNAC are dual I sraeli citizens ,from Paul Wolwfitz ,Richard Perle ,etc…..
The Iraq genocidal invasion was near totally about Israel ,net result is Israel is getting away with genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank ,and still occupying the Golan Hight and it’s Annexing and all go back since 1967 that near 50 years.
