Setting the Standard has been around 8-10 years, and was originally started by Maya Rise. We kept it going, and continues to evolve into many platforms. We are a all volunteer crew, and bring you information, poetry, music, and much more. You can tune in online at kpfa.org or on the radio at 94.1fm KPFA, 89.3 KPFB in Berkeley, and 88.1fm in Fresno. As part of being on the airwaves we make sure to include community events, issues, and resources as well.

Hey what is the name of that beautiful song that starts at around 1:12:31. It sounds like it is about La Llarona. And who sings it? Thanks.
That is a band called Fuga they are no longer together but you might still be able to find their album. Wish tjey had made a record of this song’
Thanks for responding. That song has been running through my head ever since I heard it. It is haunting and arresting. I have found many versions of it. Thanks for all of the the wonderful music that you play.
Why is it no longer possible to play this show? I thought that programs were archived for two weeks.
