Mexico is reeling from its second deadly earthquake in less than 2 weeks. So far more than 200 people are confirmed dead and the death toll will likely rise. On today’s show we’ll go to Mexico City to speak with our frequent guest Laura Carlsen who has witnessed much of the quake’s destruction. Then, as unrest in St. Louis Missouri over the police acquittal over Anthony Lamar Smith continues, our race and criminal justice correspondent Jody Armour joins us. Jody will discuss how the Black Lives Matter movement has grown and how police feel more impunity in the era of Trump. Finally, we’ll hear part 2 of a 2-part interview with Alexander Klimburg, about his new book called The Darkening Web: The War for Cyberspace. The book explores the increasingly tense battle lines drawn around the Internet as governments vie for control over our digital world. Hosted by Sonali Kolhatkar.
