Afghans went to the polls to vote for Parliamentary representatives for only the second time since the US toppled the Taliban government in 2001. On our show today we’ll turn to Kathy Kelly with Voices for Creative Nonviolence to discuss the elections and the on-going US war. Then we’ll speak with Ruby Corado, founder of Casa Ruby in Washington DC. She’s one of hundreds of people who have been protesting in front of the White House since Sunday against the leaked proposal to undermine the rights of transgender Americans. Hosted by Sonali Kolhatkar.
