The US Senate, in a major victory for grassroots activists, has voted to over the FCC’s decision on net neutrality using the Congressional Review Act. On our show today Free Press’ Tim Karr will explain what the victory means and what comes next. Then, Seattle’s Socialist City Councilmember Kshama Sawant will join us to discuss the recent hard-won tax on corporations like Amazon – a battle that she helped to lead and that offers a precedent for how big corporations do business in American cities. Finally, Sarah Anderson of Inequality.org will join us for a look at new report on CEO-to-worker pay ratios and how exorbitant CEO pay drives inequality.
