Rising Up With Sonali

Dakota Access Pipeline Fight Not Yet Over

As a federal judge issues an unexpected ruling in favor of water protectors against the Dakota Access Pipeline, we’ll turn today to Judith Le Blanc, Director of the Native Organizers Alliance. I spoke with her at the People’s Summit in Chicago before the decision and she’ll explain the importance of the movement at Standing Rock. Then, we’ll turn to Lorenzo Cerna, a member of Unicorn Riot, a guerilla media collective that were on the front lines of media coverage at Standing Rock and other stories. Finally, Richard (RJ) Eskow, host of The Zero Hour, and Senior Fellow with the Campaign for Americas Future, joins us. He’ll discuss how Donald Trump and the GOP are selling out the American people with their push for privatization of public infrastructure.
