On today’s show we’ll examine electoral politics in the wake of the November Presidential election. Vermont Senator and revered progressive presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will join us to discuss his book Our Revolution. Then, Seattle City Council member Kshama Sawant is one of many people of color around the US who was viciously attacked by Trump supporters after the election. We’ll play an interview we did with Sawant shortly after November 8th. The socialist city council member will discuss what she’s experiencing and why it is important to mobilize in the face of mass abuse and coming repression. Finally, we’ll turn to Green Party Vice Presidential candidate Ajamu Baraka in a conversation attempting to make sense of the election and the blame game against his party.
